Raheem Sterling has wasted little time on his return from the World Cup as he is already back in the gym for pre-season training.
The Liverpool winger only landed back in the UK with the England squad on Wednesday following their group stage elimination in Brazil.
But he has started his preparations for next season instantly, posting a photo on Instagram showing him in the gym.

Sterling will be disappointed that he is not still out in Brazil but, following back-to-back 2-1 losses against Italy and Uruguay, England were knocked out after only two matches.
They drew 0-0 against Costa Rica in their final Group D match and that solitary point gave them their worst return in a World Cup since 1958.
Sterling, 19, starred for Liverpool last season as they narrowly missed out on the Premier League title, scoring 10 goals in 34 appearances.

Germany vs USA goes ahead despite TWO MONTHS' worth of rainfall in one night

The decisive World Cup clash between Germany and the USA will be played despite two months’ worth of rainfall hitting Recife in one night.
Flash floods have transformed the streets into a apocalyptic scene, as 42,000 supporters attempt to navigate their way to the Estadio Pernambuco, with fans deserting their vehicles and walking miles to make it in time for kick off on Thursday evening.
As things stand, FIFA insist that the match will go ahead and Uzbekistani referee Ravshan Irmatov has inspected the pitch and passed it fit to play ahead of the game between Jurgen Klinsmann’s US outfit and his native Germany.
Washed out: Soaked fans try to approach the stadium after heavy rainfall put the game in doubt

Doubtful: A view of the Arena Pernambuco as heavy rain falls ahead of kick off
Damp: Some supporters have already made it into the stadium, showing it is possible to reach it
Gridlock: Cars queue in the Recife rain as fans struggle to reach the stadium for the Group G decider
Look for cover: Joachim Loew peers out from under an umbrella as the rain continues to fall at the stadium
Stadium officials decided the conditions do not place supporters in danger, despite the deluge showing little sign of easing up as kick off approaches.
The path leading directly to the stadium is clear but the challenge facing supporters is to break through the gridlock in the city that is slowing down access.
A draw will take both sides through to the knockout stages but defeat for the USA could hand an opportunity for Portugal or Ghana, who play at the same time in Recife, to capitalise and earn a place in the next round.
Ghana’s plans for this evening’s decisive World Cup clash against Portugal have been catapulted into chaos after two players – Sulley Muntari and Kevin Prince Boateng – were suspended indefinitely and ordered home.

Luis Suarez's four-month ban for biting could see Liverpool star lose Adidas sponsorship deal

Luis Suarez’s major sponsors Adidas are currently holding discussions at the highest level after the Uruguayan was banned for nine international matches and from all football for four months.
FIFA are Adidas’ longest-serving partners, with a relationship that began in 1970 and was last year extended until 2030.
It is anticipated that they may come under pressure to support the stance of the world governing body over that of their client Suarez, who is likely to be devastated by the severity of the ban that he has received for biting Giorgio Chiellini.

Luis Suarez banned for four months from ALL football for bite on Giorgio Chiellini

Uruguay bad boy Luis Suarez was ruled out of the World Cup and the Premier League until the end of October in a mammoth FIFA ban.
The FIFA disciplinary committee , after more than 10 hours of talks over Wednesday night and this morning, banned him from nine competitive  Uruguay games and four months of all football activity.
This follows him biting Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini on the shoulder during Uruguay's victory over Liverpool, the third time he has done such an abhorrent act on the football field, which was taken into account by the committee.
Suarez will miss 13 Liverpool games and any transfer negotiations will not be affected by the ban but would obviously complicate matters, and has been fined £65,000.
